After decades of service to the Le Sueur-Henderson School District, it's time for the building to retire. To prepare for the demolition, the Le Sueur EDA has asked us to facilitate a top-to-bottom, wall-to-wall auction that will feature classroom cabinetry, window A/C units, auditorium seating, gym floors, basketball hoops, mechanical equipment, and much more! Auction begins Monday, August 31st and begins to end at 7 PM on Monday, September 14th with 3 lots ending per minute using extended bidding. INSPECTION Inspection will be on Friday, September 11th from Noon to 6 PM. Inspections will be guided by Southern MN Auctions staff. Bidders will not be allowed to roam without an escort for safety. PICKUP Tuesday, September 15th from 10 AM to 6 PM Wednesday, September 16th from 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday, September 17th from 10 AM to 6 PM SPECIAL NOTES ABOUT THIS AUCTION - An insurance waiver will need to be signed before both the inspection and the removal of your items. - Nobody under 18 years of age is allowed in the building. - There is mold in certain parts of the building. Lots in those areas have notes in their descriptions. You are responsible for bringing your own PPE, it will not be supplied. - Absolutely NO open-toed shoes are allowed. There has been some vandalism in parts of the school and there is broken glass on the floor. - There is NO electricity. Please plan accordingly when picking up - you will be responsible for providing your own lighting, should you need it. - There is NO plumbing. A porta-potty is available for use, but the bathrooms are not in service. - There is NO shipping available on this auction. Everything must be picked up in Le Sueur on the noted dates and times.
